What does Menschen für Menschen do?
Menschen für Menschen has been fighting poverty and hunger since 1981. The foundation was founded by the actor Karlheinz Böhm (1928 – 2014). In the spirit of the founder, we create life prospects for the poorest families in Ethiopia. The aim of our work is to ensure that they can live with dignity in their homeland. The focus of the individual projects is the promotion of women, vocational training, microcredit, child welfare, family planning and agricultural development. The components are combined according to local needs and implemented with carefully selected local partners.
